One of the most interesting and unique features of our swing-arm cutting systems is the hydraulic system, designed and patented by ATOM. It enables our machines to generate a cutting force of up to 25 tons using an electrical engine of just one horsepower, making the power consumption of the equipment very low.
The main features to be considered while evaluating a sing arm press are:
• structural features, such as the cutting power, the size of the cutting pad and of the cutting arm.
• control systems such as the power setting, the fine tuning of the stroke end, the devices that make the arm easier to move.
ATOM produces four lines of swing arm presses:
• "Multiforce light swing" line: the Multiforce system automatically sets the cutting pressure to maximise the ease of use and reduce the consumption of the cutting pad by up to 50%. The lightswing system has been designed with ergonomics in mind, helping to drastically reduce fatigue in the machine operator.
• 
line "100": with three different cutting pressures to deal with dies having different height and blade development quickly and easily.
• line "SAB": the clicking arm moves automatically so that the operator can work with the minimum of exertion.
• line "SE" (Entry Level): the basic machines, with automatic setting of the stroke end. Working with dies of different height is no longer a problem with an ATOM SE machine.
Most of our models can be produced both with the the "CE" certification, relating to European safety rules and in a "non-CE" version.
