Flashcut cutting tables, main features:

  • Two independent work areas: While the machine is cutting on one area, the operator can collect cut parts, deploy the next material and prepare the next layout on the another one. It is possible to equip the machine with a double projection system to perform nesting even on huge materials occupying the whole cutting table;
  • Precise cutting and parts ready for the next production stage: Often parts cut with other technologies require some further refinement before being used. A typical example is parts used for footwear soles, often must be milled to achieve the required precision. Using Atom knife cutting tables ensures you always have sharp cuts which can be immediately assembled on the finished product.
  • High brightness projector: It enables clear visualisation of parts and commands on all materials. All operations become faster and more accurate. Projectors are optional components.
  • Quick configuration switching: Switching between completely different materials has never been easier.

With any FlashCut model 3 minutes is all it takes to switch from cutting a soft, thin material to the hardest and thickest material.

  • Smart vacuum system: The FlashCut cutting surface is dividend into different sectors, which can be independently activated. The operator can either use the mouse to manually set activation status for each of them or let the machine automatically activate just those sectors where the cutting is performed. By concentrating the vacuum power just where it is precisely needed it is possible to increase cutting speed without sacrificing precision. This makes it possible to cut a wider range of materials and power consumption is reduced.
  • Powerful and versatile cutting head: The multiple tool cutting head allows sophisticated jobs, including engraving , which require perfect control on the cutting depth. The powerful blade and head mechanism allows for the cutting of very hard materials, such as tanged graphite, leather and fiber cardboard. All our cutting tables can be equipped with the same cutting head to provide maximum performance in any situation.

Two great Flashcut families

FlashCut machines are grouped in two great families, accordingly with the kind of cutting surface:

  • Flat table cutting systems.
  • Inclined table cutting systems.

Flat cutting surface machines allow to:

  • Work on the 4 sides of the table;
  • Cut materials up to 6,1 x 2,6 meters (equivalent to two full bovine hides);
  • Double productivity using two cutting heads;

Their features make them an invaluable tool to cut big or hard materials, often used together with fully automated nesting.

Inclined cutting machines:-

  • Offer better accessibility to the material;
  • Perform all the operations from the front side of the machine;
  • Work very efficiently with materials up to 3 x 1 metres;
